Labor migration from Ukraine

In recent years, the flow of labor migration from Ukraine is increasing.
Labor migration has both positive and negative sides.
On the one hand, remittances of labor migrants exceed foreign investment. At the same time, vacant personnel niches are formed on the labor market, and already in individual branches there is a real human famine.

Thus, among citizens who migrated to Estonia received a permit for short-term work up to 12 months, the share of Ukrainian – 80%. Ukrainians are also in the lead in obtaining residence permits in Estonia.
However, Estonia is not the first place among the countries to which citizens of Ukraine migrate.

The most popular country for work and life of Ukrainian is Poland. The most active exit process has been observed in the last three years.

The economy of Poland continues to grow and salaries, according to the National Bank of Ukraine, for various types of activities exceed the Ukrainian ones by 4-6 times. Most of all in agriculture and construction. In addition, the country is nearby and the Ukrainian is easily adapted because of a close cultural field.

Russia remains in second place, although Ukrainians rarely go to this country. Third place was occupied by Hungary. According to the State Border Guard Service, in 2008 – 2017, 3700,000 citizens left and returned from Ukraine
