The level of social and economic development of Hungary is determined by economic and demographic components. The average salary in the country is about € 500 (1,49400 HUF). According to the Hungarian Government Decree 347/2014 (XII. 29.), the guaranteed national minimum wage is:
– unqualified employees: per hour – € 1.9 (604 HUF), per day – € 16 (4830 HUF), per week – € 78 (24160 HUF), per month – € 350 (105000 HUF)
– professionals: per hour – € 2.3 (702 HUF), per day – € 18 (5620 HUF), per week – € 90.6 (28080 HUF), per month – € 405 (122000 HUF).
Distribution of expenses (on average per month,%):
– food – 28.9;
– transport – 17.5;
– housing – 15.9;
– catering – 13;
– housing and communal services – 12.4;
– sports and recreation – 7.6;
– clothes and shoes – 4.6.
