7 euro for visa-free travel
Since 2021 the European Union has been changing the system of badges at its borders.
For people who travel to the EU on a visa-free basis, a system called ETIAS – European travel information and authorization system (European authorization and travel information system) will be launched.
According to this project, citizens of “visa-free countries” for a trip to the EU will be required to undergo a paid “authorization”. The authorization price is 7 euros, the entry permit will be valid for three years.
People who travel once a year will pay 2.33 euros; twice a year – just over 1 euro. Those who travel to Schengen once in three years, an additional fee of 7 euros per trip.
